Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is visiting the U.S. and Canada on Jan. 11-16, a written ministry statement has said.
Çavuşoğlu traveled to Los Angeles on Jan. 11 to participate in a program that involves holding meetings with business, media and local political circles, Turkish expats, think tanks and universities. He will also visit Canada’s Vancouver, the statement said.
In Vancouver, Çavuşoğlu will participate in a meeting between foreign ministers titled “Security and Stability in the Korean Peninsula,” co-hosted by Canada and the U.S., as a demonstration of international solidarity against North Korea’s continued nuclear and missile tests.
