FM Çavuşoğlu calls Turkish citizen injured in Barcelona attack

ANKARA

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has held a phone conversation with a Turkish citizen who was injured in the Aug. 17 Barcelona attack, according to sources from the ministry.

Sources said the minister called Emre Eroğlu and extended his get well wishes.

Separately, the Turkish Consulate in Barcelona shared a picture of Eroğlu in the hospital on Aug. 19, stating that he was in a good condition.

The Turkish Embassy in Madrid had stated on Aug. 18 that a Turkish citizen was among those injured in the attack.
