Virtuoso brings three magnificent musicians together in the second concert of their current series.

According to the New York Times, Isabelle Faust’s “sound has passion, grit and electricity but also a disarming warmth and sweetness that can unveil the music’s hidden strains of lyricism.” She has drawn considerable international attention since winning the 1993 Paganini Competition. Adopting a musical perspective principally focusing on new experiences and discoveries, Faust’s latest solo recording of the Partitas and Sonatas by Bach was decorated with the “Diapason d’Or Arte,” among other awards. She added to her chamber music repertoire with renditions of the complete Beethoven sonatas alongside Alexander Melnikov, recordings that received the Choc de Classica, the German records Critics’ Award and the ECHO Klassik Award.
