One of Istanbul’s trendiest night spots, Hayal Kahvesi, will hosts Melis Danişmend for an intimate concert. A former member of the Turkish alternative band Üçnoktabir, musician and columnist Danişmend has been performing solo after Üçnoktabir disbanded in 2009. She released “Daha Az Renk” in 2010, which features tracks produced with only an acoustic guitar and piano. She has merged her talent for music and love of writing together in a column for Miller Time Magazine. Tickets for the concert are available at biletix.com. The concert starts 9:30 p.m.
