Ankara Jazz festival to host Antonio Forcione

Musician Antonio Forcione will perform his compositions blending African and Latin tunes with Flamenco and Indian melodies at the 16th International Ankara Jazz Festival, sponsored by Bilkent University.Forcione was born in Italy in a small village along the Adriatic coast. Known for his vigorous and colorful performances, he first drew public attention at the age of 13 when he toured with his own band throughout Italy as a guitarist, mandolinist and drummer.
The 16th Ankara International Jazz Festival will continue to host jazz musicians throughout March, closing with the jazz-based songs of Jazzybeatz by DJ Tarık Koray.
