Zorlu Energy to build solar power plants in Palestine
ANKARA - Anadolu AgencyTurkey’s Zorlu Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Palestine’s electricity distribution company JDECO for the construction and operation of solar power plants to provide electricity to Palestine, the company announced on July 19.
Zorlu reminded that JDECO provides a quarter of Palestine’s electricity.
The company also said it continued to deepen and diversify its investments in solar energy systems.
“With this investment we planned to do in Palestine, we have taken another important step toward our goal of leading the development of solar energy in our region,” said Sinan Ak, the general manager of Zorlu Energy.
