Turkish soldier killed in northern Iraq

A Turkish soldier was killed in northern Iraq by outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants on May 8, according to the Turkish army.

 A written statement by the Turkish General Staff said PKK militants launched an attack on Turkish soldiers during an operation in northern Iraq.
