Turkish jets hit 16 PKK targets in Diyarbakır's Lice

DİYARBAKIR

Turkish warplanes conducted an air operation against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in rural areas of the Lice district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on June 18.

A total of 16 PKK targets, including sanctuaries and shelters housing the militants, were destroyed in the air operation conducted between 10:05 a.m. and 10:41 a.m. following intelligence assessments in the region.

The warplanes safely returned to their bases after the operation.
