Pera to start season with new program

Pera Museum starts the autumn season with two film programs. “A Farewell to Arms: Stories of Civil Resistance” will take place on September 4. This program has been influenced by the Ernest Hemingway novel “Farewell to Arms.” The stories of resistance from the 20th and 21st centuries will be on the screens of the Pera Museum.

There will be documentaries and films in the program on the subject of civil resistance.

The program starts with the movie titled “Tous au Larzac,” which is directed by Christian Rouaud and it questions politics and government.

Pera Museum’s second program is titled “Where is my mind? The psychiatry in the cinema” and it will take place between Sept. 14 and 26.

The program’s name has been influenced by Pixies’ legendary song “Where is my mind.” There will be total of seven films screened during the program.
