One civilian was killed in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) attack targeting police on Nov. 11 in the southeastern province of Mardin while one police officer was injured.

PKK militants detonated a bomb-laden vehicle during the passing of an armored police vehicle in the Dargeçit district. According to reports, PKK militants seized the vehicle 20 days ago. 

One civilian was killed in the explosion while the police officer was wounded with non-life threatening injuries.

An operation has begun to apprehend the PKK militants responsible for the attack.
