Clashes break out in southeast Turkey

DHA photoDemonstrators protesting yesterday night's air raid that has killed 35 people clashed with the police in Yüksekova district in Turkey's southeast.
A group gathered in Yüksekova district of the southeastern Hakkari province to protest the killings. Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) deputy Esat Canan read a press statement, saying the incident was a "massacre," and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) was responsible for it.
Protesters responded by hurling stones at the police before dispersing into side streets.
