Blast rocks Kayseri in central Turkey, casualties reported

Security forces opened fire when an assailant tried to drive a car into a police station in Kayseri's Pınarbaşı district. The car, which was apparently laden with explosives, exploded.
Unveriefied reports of casualties came in immediately after the blast, claiming one police officer was killed and at least 19 were injured, according to broadcaster NTV.
