Anadolu Agency journalists briefly detained in Egypt

CAIRO - Anadolu Agency
Journalists from Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency have been briefly detained in Egypt as security forces intervened this morning to clear two sit-in camps belonging to supporters of the country's ousted president, Mohamed Morsi.

Cameraman Ahmed Said and photo-journalist Muhammed Hossam were detained while recording the intervention, but were released after security forces seized the pair’s camera footage and photos.

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood said at least 250 people were killed and over 5,000 injured in today's crackdown on two camps held by supporters of Morsi.
