In just over 2,500 anti-narcotics operations across 77 Turkish provinces, security forces seized drugs, smuggled tobacco and fuel. A total of 3,350 suspects were detained on smuggling charges during these operations, according to the statement.

As part of cybersecurity operations, legal action was taken against 169 people.

In a crackdown on illegal migration, 3,670 undocumented migrants, including 943 in Turkish waters, were held while 135 suspects who allegedly aided them were detained, the statement added.
