Two soldiers killed in PKK attack on military base in Turkey’s Diyarbakır

Two soldiers were killed and three others were wounded on Oct. 4 in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) attack targeting a military base in the Lice district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Oct. 4, Doğan News Agency has reported.
A group of PKK militants opened fire on the Killihane Tepe base area at around 5:30 p.m. with rocket launchers and long-barreled weapons.
The agency said two soldiers were killed and three others were wounded in the attack. They were taken to hospitals in Diyarbakır.
