Two historic statues seized

Two statues have been seized in a package left by people attempting to illegally enter Turkey in the southern province of Kilis. The statues have been reported to have historic value.

The people were apprehended by patrolling soldiers along the border of the province and abandoned the package upon seeing the soldiers.

The small historic statues have been delivered to the Kilis Museum Directorate.
