PM vows to continue terror fight after attack

RİZE
Turkey will continue its fight against terrorists, well aware of potential difficulties it may encounter in the aftermath of the Gaziantep attack that left nine people dead, the prime minister has said.

“We will continue our struggle until the end. We won’t tire of this. Of course this is not mathematics in which two times two makes four. This is a social case,” Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said yesterday while in Rize for his aunt’s funeral. Earlier Erdoğan attended the funerals of the nine victims in the recent Gaziantep attack.

“We are struggling against asocial, cruel people. We are determined to continue this struggle,” he said. Erdoğan stated the government has always kept its doors open for those who have suggestions on solutions to the country’s issue with terrorism and expressed the government’s readiness to shoulder responsibility for the fight against terrorists to this end. “We have never closed our doors to anyone as long as they bring us solution-oriented proposals.”
