Ministry puts ban on fiber from Asia

The Economy Ministry has announced two new regulations aimed at reducing unfair competition in the importation of fiber-glass reinforced polyester from South Korea and Indonesia, according to a posting in the yesterday’s Official Gazette.

Due to the strength of fiber-glass reinforced polyester, it is often used as a construction material to replace steel plates and concrete beams.
