Depeche Mode came to Turkey in 2001 and 2006 to give concerts at the Abdi İpekçi Arena. This time the band will perform on May 17 at Kuruçeşme Arena as part of their “Tour of the Universe.”
Depeche Mode has had 48 songs on the U.K. Singles Chart and 12 top 10 albums on the U.K. charts, two of which debuted at number 1. According to EMI, Depeche Mode has sold over 100 million albums and singles worldwide, making them the most successful electronic band in music history. Q magazine calls Depeche Mode “The most popular electronic band the world has ever known.”
