'Çocuk (H)Aklı,’ was released by Kardeş Türküler and Arto Tunçboyacıyan

An album titled “Çocuk (H)Aklı” (Child’s Mind - Child is Right), which was released by Kardeş Türküler and Arto Tunçboyacıyan in April this year, has been chosen as a candidate for nominations for the year’s best world music honor at the 54th Grammy Music Awards.

Albums by Addis Acoustic Project, Azam Ali, Amina Alaoui, Marta Gomez, Le Trio Joubran and Yasmin Levy are other candidates for nomination in the same category.

Turkey’s famous composer and jazz pianist Kerem Görsev’s 14th album, “Therapy,” is also among the album candidates for nomination in the best large jazz ensemble category. The album, which Görsev recorded at the London Abbey Road Studio under the baton of the London Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, will compete against 64 albums
