DHA photoFour people were wounded and four others were detained in a fight over a tea glass in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa late on May 23.
The fight erupted between the owners of two shops, resulting in a melee that involved sticks and rocks, causing injuries.
Coffee shop owners İsmail Ç. and Mehmet Ç. began an argument with chicken shop owners Fatih İ. and Ahmet İ. over a tea glass that escalated into a full-scale brawl that drew in other shop owners and their relatives. Glass in the shops was broken as a result of the fight.
The fight ended with police intervention, resulting in the detention of four people and the transfer of four injured people to hospital.
An investigation into the incident is continuing.
