White truffles: The diamonds of the culinary world
Istanbul’s AzzuR Restaurant is offering a special white truffles menu celebrating autumn’s most delicious ritual: truffle season. The executive chef of Mövenpick Hotel, Giovanni Terracciano, presents the gourmet delight of November with a special menu featuring the Italian Piedmont’s most celebrated gift to the culinary world, “Alba Madonna,” the white truffle. From Nov. 16 to Dec. 2 you can savor the unique aroma and essence of white truffles at AzzuR Restaurant. Dishes on the menu include chestnut and celery root soup with white Alba truffle, wild mushroom risotto with white Alba truffle, beef cheek ravioli with white Alba truffle, sautéed kind prawns with white Alba truffle and grilled beef tenderloin with white Alba truffle.
