‘Mediation conference’ to be hosted

Turkey will host the “Istanbul Conference on Mediation” on Feb. 24-25, at which alternative mediation approaches will be discussed, including a mediation simulation on the Cyprus dispute conducted by Sabancı University. Nassir Abdulaziz al-Nasser, President of the 66th Session of the General Assembly, will attend the conference after holding official talks in Ankara Feb. 23. Along with Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota, Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will also participate in the conference as co-chair.
