Two legendary players from the Canadian Football League began fighting during an event organized for football alumni in Vancouver on Nov. 25.

During a luncheon ahead of the 99th Grey Cup, former Hamilton Ti-Cat star Angelo Mosca was offered an olive branch by his longtime rival, former B.C. Lion Joe Kapp. Mosca reportedly insulted Kapp, precipitating punches by the former Lion. The former Ti-Cat then hit Kapp with his cane, sparking more punches from the latter.

The guests of the events briefly watched the two legends fight before people rushed on stage to separate the pair, who have been rivals since the 1963 Grey Cup.

Kapp, 73, and Mosca, 74, were two of the most prominent personalities in the history of the Canadian Football League.
