Turkey to pay salaries to relatives of failed coup attempt victims

Turkey will pay invalidity of official salary to the relatives of the July 15 failed coup attempt victims and veterans, the country’s Social Security Institution (SGK) has announced.

The lowest salary to be paid will be at least 3,203 Turkish Liras. Accordingly, the statutory heirs of the victims will get 88,596 liras and the temporarily disabled who were in need will be paid 177,192 liras in cash.
 
The other temporarily disabled citizens will be paid a salary between 66,447 and 22,149 liras and the injured will be given no more than 17,719 liras, according to the degree of their injuries.

Meanwhile, civil servants who lost their lives and temporarily disabled citizens who were in need will be given the highest civil servant salary.

In addition, the other civilians who lost their lives and those  temporarily disabled who were in need will be given an additional compensation of 150,613 liras, while the other temporarily disabled will be given an additional 101,885 liras of compensation.
