Turkey's Fenerbahçe was defeated by Slovakia's Spartak Trnava 1-0 in UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

Kubilay Yılmaz scored the game’s only goal in the 41st minute for Spartak Trnava's in Trnava, during the sixth and final week of league group matches.

The result was a formality as Fenerbahçe had already secured a birth in the round of 32 in the tournament.  In the other Group D match, Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb drew scoreless with Belgium's Anderlecht.

As group leader, Dinamo Zagreb also qualified for the UEFA Europa League round of 32.

The draw ceremony will be held Dec. 17 at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
