Homeless man and dog hugging on the pavement in Taksim touch hearts

A homeless man and a stray dog hugging on the pavement at Istanbul’s Taksim Square touched the hearts of passersby on May 20.
The duo, lying in front of the demolished Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) in the morning hours, were photographed by many locals passing by.
Photos of the pair embracing went viral on many social media platforms.
