5.1-magnitude quake shakes Marmara region

A 5.1-magnitude quake struck the Marmara region yesterday night at 11:54 p.m., daily Hürriyet reported.
The quake occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers below the
earth’s crust in the Marmara Sea, near Tekirdağ’s Ereğli district.
The temblor was felt by all provinces surrounding the Marmara Sea, triggering panic among local residents but no casualties.
