Turkish growth at 1.6 pct fails to impress

Turkey's gross domestic product growth in the third quarter was 1.6 percent, way below the market expectation at around 3 percent, according to data revealed by the statistics body TÜİK today.

The Turkish growth in the third quarter of last year was 8.2 percent.
