An investigation has been launched into an alleged leak of the staff officer entrance exam questions of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), after copies of the exam were reportedly sold in a central shopping center in Ankara.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Bureau for Crimes against the Constitutional Order launched an investigation on May 14 into allegations that the exam was leaked and sold, daily Habertürk reported on May 15.

The investigation was launched upon an official complaint from Deputy Chief of General Staff Yaşar Güler.

After passing the exam, graduates of the military academy with six years’ experience in the army are able to pursue a military career that can lead up to the top commander post.

In his official complaint, General Güler said copies of the exam were being sold in the Zafer Bazaar, a shopping center located in the Kızılay district of the Turkish capital Ankara.
