UK inflation unexpectedly rises

Consumer prices rose 3.2 percent from a year earlier, the Office for National Statistics said yesterday in London. Inflation accelerated by 0.2 percentage point from 3 percent in January, the statistics office said. The rate increased for the first time in five months.
