Treasure hunters destroy Vank Church

Vank Church, which is located in Şenkaya district of Erzurum and whose date of construction is unknown, has been destroyed by treasure hunters.

The church also draws attention with dozens of rock caves around it. Locals of the region call for the protection of the church and want it to be brought to tourism.
