Galatasaray has suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Gençlerbirliği last week. DHA photoGalatasaray hopes to translate its European form onto the domestic stage when the defending champion meets Kayserispor in the Spor Toto Super League today.

After two matches without a win, Galatasaray’s point advantage decreased to four over Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.
After a poor start to the season, Kayserispor saw a recent boom in form under new coach Robert Prosinecki, who followed Shota Arveladze. The Central Anatolian team is on a league best seven-match unbeaten run.
Earlier on March 17, Fenerbahçe will visit Antalyaspor.
The Yellow Canaries also had a successful midweek, knocking the Viktoria Plzen out of the Europa League for a quarterfinal spot. Antalyaspor has climbed as high as the second spot earlier this season but had a poor run recently.
In two relegation-zone battles, Orduspor will host Gaziantepspor and Akhisar will meet Sivasspor, also on March 17.
Beşiktaş hosts fourth-place Kasımpaşa in the highlight match of March 16. Earlier, Istanbul BB will meet bottom-team Mersin İdman Yurdu and Gençlerbirliği takes on Karabükspor.
