Lightning kills 2 as Turkey struggles with heavy rain

Istanbul was hit by heavy rainfall early this morning.
The Turkish State Meteorological Service issued an advisory for heavy rain between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and warned locals about the possibility of flooding.
Turkey's north, west and central Anatolian regions will be affected by the precipitation, according to the meteorological service.
Two people died after being struck by lightning in Agean province of İzmir, reports said.
