Bahadır Yıldız has his 6th solo exhibition at Gallery Apel, which is centered on sculptures constructed around the orthopedic shoe lasts made for different types of feet. At first look, the objects look like shoe lasts, but in the artist’s world they have undergone a transformation in terms of form and concept. Scrap, sawdust, wooden objects and pieces of wood come together in Yılmaz’s sculptures, which make reference to the “inner weave” of the human being. The exhibition can be visited until June 22.
