Istanbul airport personnel take care of puppy forgotten in bathroom

ISTANBUL

Personnel from Istanbul Atatürk International Airport have found a puppy forgotten by a passenger inside one of the bathrooms at the airport, Doğan News Agency reported on Dec. 27.

The puppy was found in one of the bathrooms at the international arrivals terminal inside a travel compartment.

Airport personnel have immediately informed police and customs officials of the situation.

The personnel later fed the puppy and passengers at the airport played with it.

The puppy will reportedly be transferred to an animal shelter in the city.
