The office of daily
Zaman in the Dutch city of Rotterdam was attacked by unidentified assailants early on Tuesday.
Zaman’s manager in the
Netherlands, Ismail Erdem, said five individuals with masks broke the windows of their Rotterdam office at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday, based on images recorded by a security camera.
The Dutch police have begun an investigation into the incident. “Based on the video recordings, we think that this was a planned
attack. We do hope that the assailants will be arrested soon. We also hope that Dutch officials will investigate the matter thoroughly,” Erdem said.
Recently, daily Zaman’s offices in France and Germany came under attacks.
