Atatürk’s Mausoleum opens for virtual visits

The company titled 3dlocationearth.com, which puts Turkey’s monuments on Google Earth, has opened Atatürk’s Mausoleum in Ankara to virtual visits for the April 23 International Children’s Day.

According to a written statement, all children around the world will be able to visit the mausoleum, both through Google Earth and the www.3dlocationearth.com website.

The website, which displays monuments and places as 3D on Google Earth, has taken the models of Atatürk’s Mausoleum for this special project.

Among other places that will be able to be visited online are Topkapı Palace, Sultanahmet Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, Hagia Sophia, Egyptian Bazaar, Yedikule Dungeons, Rumeli Hisarı, Çırağan and Dolmabahçe Palaces, Galata Tower and Maiden’s Tower and so on.
