TV ads dip 15 percent in absence of measurement

The total TV commercial time shrank during the period when ratings were not measured, according to a monthly survey by Nar Ajans, a firm active in visual media follow-up.

The decrease in January was about 15 percent compared with the same month last year, the firm said. Rating measurements would restart in May, said the Television Monitoring and Research Committee (TİAK) last week. TİAK halted rating measurements on Dec. 20 due to a leaking of addresses of rating devices.
