Turkish wrestler wins bronze in European championship

Turkish athlete Serhat Balcı won a bronze medal at the 59th European Wrestling Championship in the Serbian capital of Belgrade yesterday.

Balcı toppled his Azerbaijani rival Navruz Temrezov 2-1 to claim the title in men's 96-kg category.

This was Turkey's first medal at the championship so far.
