Three workers killed due to collapse of mosque construction in Turkey’s Samsun Three workers were killed and three were injured due to the collapse of an under-construction mosque in the Black Sea province of Samsun on April 29, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

The collapse occurred in Samsun’s Atakum district around noon on April 29.

Ambulances and rescue crews were dispatched to the area after the incident.

Samsun Governor İbrahim Şahin said the collapse occurred in the dome of the mosque, adding that the three wounded workers were taken to the hospital after they were rescued from under the rubble where they were trapped.
