Shanghai Shenhua snap up former Beşiktaş ace Demba Ba

Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua have revealed that they will sign former Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba.The Chinese side officially announced June 27 an agreement with the Turkish Spor Toto Super League team about the Senegalese hitman’s transfer.
According to a Shanghai Shenhua statement, 30-year-old Ba will be in China on June 28 for a medical check-up and to sign a contract. Neither the transfer fee nor the player’s an-nual salary has been disclosed.
Ba’s career has seen him play for English Premier League sides West Ham, Newcastle United and Chelsea, among others, including Germany’s Hoffenheim.
The Senegalese international scored 27 goals in 44 matches for Beşiktaş.
