One person killed after being hit by metrobus in Istanbul

A pedestrian was killed late last night after being hit by a metrobus after the unidentified victim suddenly appeared in the bus’ lane in Istanbul, Doğan news agency has reported.

Paramedics immediately arrived at the scene but could not save the pedestrian.

The driver of the metrobus, which was traveling from Beylikdüzü to Zincirlikuyu, was taken to a police station for questioning.
