A worker was killed in a landslide at a mine in the Şarkikaraağaç district of Turkey’s Isparta province on April 10.

Mustafa Yaylı, 36, was seriously wounded when rocks fell on him during a landslide in a barite mine 15 kilometers from the district center.

Other miners removed him from the mine and rushed him to the district hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Yaylı, a father of three, was reportedly the brother of mine’s owner.

An investigation has been opened into the incident.
