Kitten rescued from toilet hole in northwestern Turkey Rescue crews saved a trapped kitten from a squat-toilet hole in the Marmara province of Kırklareli on Sept. 7.

A local, Ramazan Gündoğdu, had taken in a mother cat and her newborn kittens in the İstasyon neighborhood of the Kırklareli province.

In a short time, one of the kittens was trapped in the squat-toilet hole in Gündoğdu’s house. He informed the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) crews over this issue after he was unable to rescue the kitten on his own.

The kitten was rescued by AFAD crews and reunited with its mother after it was cleaned up.

Following the incident, Gündoğdu said he was very happy the kitten was rescued and was moved when he saw the kitten reunited with its mother.
