Five injured in metrobus accident in Istanbul

Five passengers were injured when two metrobuses collided near Istanbul’s Merter neighborhood, while the accident blocked the city’s metrobus route in the Avcılar direction. 

On the morning of Jan. 18 a metrobus hit another from behind amid a heavy snow storm in Istanbul. 

Five passengers were injured in the accident and transferred to a nearby hospital. 

Meanwhile, a number metrobuses became stuck due to the accident, hindering public transportation. Many passengers preferred to walk towards their destinations, reports claimed.
