A four-time Grammy award nominee, Feist told Hurriyet.com.tr that she never expected so many people in Turkey to know her records.

Canadian singer/songwriter Leslie Feist played for Turkish fans as part of the İKSV (Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts) jazz festival. Many gathered at Maçka Küçükçiftlik Park for her first-ever Istanbul performance.

A four-time Grammy award nominee, Feist told Hurriyet.com.tr that she never expected so many people in Turkey to know her records. While emphasizing the importance of peace during the interview, she also put a poster saying “Free Pussy Riot” on stage during her show. She explained “how her friends have become her colleagues” and about “details on sound” during the interview.
