Consuls general in Istanbul visit site of Beşiktaş terror attacks

Consuls general in Istanbul visited the site of the deadly twin bombings in front of the Vodafone Arena stadium in Beşiktaş on Dec. 12, laying wreaths at the scene.Foreign mission representatives of more than 30 countries in Istanbul gathered in Dolmabahçe and walked to the site of the attack.
The first wreath was laid by U.S. Consul General in Istanbul Jennifer Davis.
The gathered consuls general later stood in silent homage.
One local at the scene protested the consuls generals after their visit to the site.
“They killed and now there are sending wreaths. All of the killers are here,” he shouted, as police units nearby immediately moved the man away from the scene.
