City to host a new fest

Oi Va Voi is one of tha bands that will perform at the first festival to be organized by Babylon at Maslak Parkorman.

Yesterday Babylon announced the kick-off of a new indie music festival, scheduled for May 26 in Istanbul. The Babylon Soundgarden Festival will take place at Maslak Parkorman, with a line-up featuring bands like The Parov Stellar band, Caravan Palace and Oi Va Voi.

Last summer the festival was held in the Çeşme district in İzmir province. This year’s festival will include an Istanbul leg, the date of which has not been announced yet. The nine-day festival will also feature many side events.

Ticket presales started through Biletix yesterday. The presale ticket price is 40 Turkish Liras.
