Brawl erupts over gunfire on set of Turkish TV series in Istanbuls Maçka Park The shooting of a Turkish TV series’ episode in Istanbul’s Maçka Park on April 11 caused a brawl to erupt between the film crew and locals.

During a scene where actor Çağatay Ulusoy is randomly firing his blank gun at the shooting of the TV series “İçerde” (Inside) prompted a brawl between the crew and locals at the park.

While firing the gun around, as part of his role, Ulusoy yelled and swore.

Locals in the park grew contentious over the distress the gunshots caused to their children and accused the film crew of being inconsiderate of others.

“Our children are playing here; do you have to fire the gun in the park? We will put you in jail,” one of the locals said.

Upon the locals’ complaints, police arrived at the scene and said the film crew had permits to shoot in the park.

The film crew, however, packed their equipment and left the park after the tension increased more without ending the shooting.
